whole load of water troughs need to get rid of

Have a few large round Paxton water troughs and a load of traditional galvanised ones of various sizes, does anyone actually ever use these now. Any ideas for alternative uses? My kids are desperate for a Paxton tank as a pool in the garden !

guessing the biggest problem is I live in sussex and no bugger has any animals in this neck of the woods anymore, carriage would be prohibitive

I've sold galvanised troughs on eBay as garden planters. Crazy what people will pay for "distressed" (rotten) troughs. Cash too.

I sold a pair of 4' galvanised troughs for 30 each. Both holed. The nice 8' riveted one was 150. Nice couple, they didn't even blink when I told them the price. I think they thought they had a bargain.
