Noticed on my travels some farms are changing colour fast, maybe we'll need this massive first cut because there might not be another .
Here we're fine , this farm performs well 1 year in 10

Was talking about this with dad this afternoon, our dry ground is just starting to turn, fortunately we have a mountain of silage this year, just cut and baled 34 round bales off 2 acres...

Yep here too. But saying that we have had over 2.5 inches of rain since beginning of July so am hopeful we may get another flush.

We would be burning up if the last few days hadn't been so cold and wet with another 15mm of rain, today is a perfect warm growing day with low cloud and wet ground following a few showers overnight.

One day like Thursday week ago with a strong wind and 25 degrees can revers all that good work, already buffer feeding.

Pigs runs have gone from six inches of Readybrek type gloop to rock hard mud with finger wide cracks within a few weeks, never satisfied!

We have had quite a bit of rain overnight Bob I think. Have more hay to mow, not looking very settled this week at all.
