Who's going to AgriScot?

Sure am. Brilliant show, not just for dairy farmers.

No tweets about it from the tff page though, plenty about croptech however!

:sneaky: Have you been sending subliminal messages! :scratchhead:

If you think I have not given something topical attention on Twitter always happy to be contacted and pointed in the right direction. Happy to tweet pictures or observations from shows whenever you are at a show too.

aside from AgriScot, I do have a problem reporting things which happen in Scotland in general, because a lot of the newspapers seem to be subscription only, or have a limit on the number of times you may view articles without subscribing, usually 5 articles, and I quickly use up those permissions at the start of a month.

Anyone catch the hoof trimming demo?

When you need a 1000 cow herd to even remotely consider a profit, a complicated machine to keep the poor milk sacks walking a few weeks longer is needed I'd say (n)
I didn't get a chance to speak to them - are they intending farmers to buy them or foot trimmers with a trailer? There's a talk on Friday at the London Vet Show re 1 in 4 of the national dairy herd have some form of lameness that needs treating and digital dermatitis has been shown to be an increasing problem in the beef herd.

Super show as per usual. Really going from strength to strength.

Should really have got down earlier to avoid the queues entering.
Good beef demo from Basil Lowman too.
