Who's in hiding?

This is apolitical, because it's pretty clear that on my side JRM is keeping a very low profile post his Grenfell cock-up. Diane Abbott was also under the radar, until yesterday's car crash interview. Happy to read of other gits, from any side or party, who have disappeared recently, presumably because too embarrassing to their respective cause to be seen in public at the moment.

Biggest question for me is, where is Mr Hilary Benn? He was all over the place before the GE was called, every time one switched on the TV he was there... ugh. But, now that Labour really don't want to p!ss off Northern Leave voters he is... nowhere! :scratchhead:

Agree. Its all rather presidential over here now isn't it? Sigh.
Corbyn and Swinson maybe have a limited shelf in the event of a GE fail, and does Boris have the endurance to get it done?

I dont think its got anything to do with Northern leave voters. The half sensible Labour MPs know that Corbyn is toxic, and is what they are finding out on the doorsteps.

Francois / Baker the ERG. Such a blissful five election weeks without them. But we all know that come next week Tories as government with a majority they will be back, hasta la vista baby. Ready to start ranting and raving about Canada plus and Free Trade. Just to prove Brexit is not done.

very good point. Is he not being allowed to be heard? If so why would JC be worried about him?

It seems the Conservatives have decided that Boris alone can see them through.

Labour may well have decide that Hilary Benn looks a bit too scary and authoritarian, or it may be that the left-wing politburo just don't like anyone who appears too intellectual.
