Actually almost every waking hour is accounted for here. I’m doing all the housework, nursing the Mrs, as well as drilling and just managing. Then somebody decided I ought to lose a day. And catch up when? Stood looking out the shed when it’s peeing down. No thanks. Things hardly move fast enough at the best of times in this country without yet another enforced day off. We don’t all have staff.

There's a house in the village, it never usually has a flag up anyway, they have a stick at their gate with the flag tied on half way up

We will be drilling, topping tatties etc etc etc. Had to call out tyre guy today as they will still be on emergency call outs tomorrow as well, so they would be working but just costing more.

Rough, temperature and weak, no energy. First time I've had it.
Hope your back in fighting form soon. Just back from father in-laws. He has Parkinson’s but caught covid a few months back it’s left him very weak and in pain. Didn’t realise until yesterday he isn’t able to start the mower so popped over today and gave the garden a blitz.

Seems to be a lot of it about again our granny who's 93 has caught it again in nursing home.

not proper work as such but have a kubota digger which has had some wiring chewed by mice so going to do a bit of soldering and heat shrink! Quiet therapeutic work perhaps
