Why Has The UKs Govt. Got A Anti Food Production Policy ?

I thought that by us leaving the EU we here in the UK, would shape/create a new agriculture/horticulture support package for food production? All i see thats happened is that large blocks of productive land are by new "incentives" leaving abandoning, stopping food production, that and the massive continued loss of land to new housing, (talk of 300,000) a year, how much land will that swallow up? Tree planting, rewilding, mass solarfarms etc, all this will drive the industry base and the support industries down, while while? the UKs population grows massively? Any one, a child? can see that these two opposing forces will collide very soon? Tears will be shed?

Brexit was a vote for the end of productive farming in the UK and a change long term to a huge national park importing its food, anyone who cant see that is blind,

very few votes left in ag sector, lot of votes in environment
