Wide angle PTO missing grease nipple?

My new baler came with a Walterscheid wide angle PTO shaft (model pwe580). When going to grease it the other day I could find no grease nipple anywhere on the central body of the wide angle joint. There's nipples on the end caps of the two Hardy Spicer joints either side, but nothing to put any grease into the central part. Is this correct? All the wide angle PTOs I've had up to now have had a nipple there, indeed the cover for this one has a hole that suggests there should be one. Are they made non-greaseable now? Or have I been sent a wrongly manufactured one?

I'm talking about a grease nipple like the one visible in this part:

Not unusual the wide angle shaft that came with my baler, also a Walterscheid has no nipple in the middle bit. I searched and searched to see if it had broke off but there’s not even a hole for one.
The new one I bought 2 years ago to fit the other tractor oddly does have one tho !.

So is the middle bit not greased at all then? Thats surely not very good for its long term prospects?

Mine never got greased as there’s obviously no nipple, mine lasted a good while and wasn’t new when it came !. Infact I used it last week baling hay as the 4755 is out of action to use the newer one, it rattles abit now but still usable.

My new fusion has the same. When I took a closer look there is a pipe from the front UJ to the middle part. I just give it plenty of grease because it greases both sections.

The dealer supplying the baler said something about a tube, but I couldn't see one. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. I have to say though, a tube rotating that fast and oscillating back and forth as well doesn't sound like its going to last that long. I think I may drill and tap a hole for a nipple, so I can be sure some grease is getting in the way it used to do.

You'll have to take the guard off to see the pipe. The Walterscheid wide angle on the Fusion 3 I drive is the 2 nipple type and has done 25000 bales over 4 seasons so far without issue. The front nipple only takes 3 or 4 pumps but you could put a full tube into the back one and the seals will never crack. We took the guard off to see where the grease was going.

A lot of new hardy spicers like that grease nipple on the end, far easier to grease and they do grease the whole spicer work great, no problems with them.

I finally got a response from Walterscheid about my PTO shaft and the wonderfully named Norbert Fartmann (yes that REALLY is his name) emailed me back to say that there is no central grease nipple now and the rear (ie machine end) yoke supplies the grease to the centre too. And included this helpful picture explaining it all:
