Looks like 22nd June is going to be "National Burn Your Mask And Hug A Stranger Day". But are you going to keep your on?

NO. And cannot wait to be able to get my daily Paper without scrabbling in the passenger footwell of my truck for the face passport that was chucked in their in July last year and has been used a couple of times a day since. I am expecting it to be replaced by 'documents' that I have to produce instead.

I presumed that once they bonfire the social restrictions then my pointless mask would be on the fire? Anyway, forget the date. Will you keep yours when you don't need it? I'm on the cusp of using the "fibromyalgia defence" IE make up a bogus medical condition and just not wearing mine.

Shame will be the approach used. You granny or should I see obese individual killler.

Forget masks best thing might be wiring jaws together. Shopping in Lincoln last week i saw several people without masks and badges saying why the didn’t need them all were very overweight.

We seem to go over this a lot on this forum.

Masks work. They help stop droplets flying across the room and into the noses or eyes of other people. Washing your hands works. Cleaning touch surfaces works. Wearing gloves and a mask also helps stop you touching your own face. It's not rocket science.

You try wearing an FFP3 mask all day, I've got one. It's miserable.

Don't care. Mines going asap. This isn't a new normal. Will just take it off - noone dare challenge you as they all assume they will insult your hidden disability. I'll actively avoid any requirement to toe the line. Not interested in producing a line of folk with no immune system.

See what happens when you withhold school testing consent. They get quite excited.

Masks work in terms of inducing a sense of togetherness.
Encourage both the symptomatic and the vulnerable to go out however.
Not worn correctly by the majority and as most of us learnt during ppe training, using incorrectly is worse than not using.
All advice prior to policy change was that mandatory masks would be counterproductive.

I honestly don't see the need for someone to adopt a tone approaching civil disobedience over this. It's a fudging mask and some school testing. It's hardly that onerous and I can't quite see how even a big controlling government can gain anything from it. It's not the same as rounding folk up at night and putting them on trains to the gulags in Wales or something.

Seriously. If you want to feck with the virus, go you ahead. I'd rather not infect anyone else or the rest of my family if I can help it.

'I won't wear a mask' is akin to telling that cashier at the garage forecourt you couldn't give a flying fig about her health. I doubt she is paid danger money for dealing with goons. If businesses want to refuse service to people who won't wear a mask in their premises, I'm fine with that. What about hairdressers/barbers the like? No one expects them to risk their own health whilst providing the services they do?

The mask is a uniform.
Masks had week lead up time to being "required" in that week 80% didn't wear masks, even though clearly told it would save lives blah blah blah
Then magically on one day everyone decided that it was a good idea and morally questionable not to wear one?
Not the day before?
Wouldn't have been saving lives then?
