Wind turbine for sale

We have a 10Kw Westwind wind turbine on a 14 metre tower. Now in the wrong place so needs to come down. Anyone interested?

Hi - sorry for the delay - now back online - for the turbine, the tower, the DC power cable, the controller, two inverters and the dump load to price is £8,000 if you can arrange to take it down and transport it yourself.

Yes, there are two 5kw inverters, it is seven years old, and there is a hydraulic ram to raise and lower it.

16,048 Kw hrs. We have now taken the turbine down so it is stacked neatly in the yard ready for sale.

Struggling to find much literature online about this machine, quite rare here?

Bit too pricy to gamble on for me. Will investigate planning requirements none the less as is the sort of size I'd like to get.

Yeh, planning wasn't a problem. This size of turbine which is less than the height of tall trees fits neatly into the landscape - which is also why I ordered a dark green tower with black blades to blend into the background. Now that the turbine's down we can see that there's a bit of maintenance to be done, so we can look again at the price if you wish to carry that out.
