Windyboy inverter

I have an Xzeres wind turbine which blows an inverter occasionally. Unfortunately I'm having to wait up to nine weeks for a replacement so I could do with a spare to have on hand.
Anybody on here have a Windyboy they would sell? It's an SMA 6000A.

with solar inverters it is quite often the igbt power transistors that fail, quite a lot of them are made by fairchild of the usa, might be worth a quick look inside it,

That's interesting, I've not had a look behind the cover this time because it tripped it's own circuit breaker and the main one so I assumed it was a major failure. I know a few inverters in the past had a component at the very top which exploded.

What output power ? 6kw??
What voltage range ??
Yes 6KW each inverter.
Single phase 240V output.
I've been told that the turbine controller sends out over 500V with a power curve that only these Windy boys can cope with. It would be nice to get a different brand of inverter to work though.

Unsure if suitable .............
Thanks for pointing this out.
I've been in touch with the seller and they have been very helpful even though this particular inverter is unsuitable. They have suggested a company which specialises in these kind of convertions.
It's been pretty busy here today so I've not had a chance to check it out but will be interesting to see what they say.
