That's interesting, I've not had a look behind the cover this time because it tripped it's own circuit breaker and the main one so I assumed it was a major failure. I know a few inverters in the past had a component at the very top which exploded.with solar inverters it is quite often the igbt power transistors that fail, quite a lot of them are made by fairchild of the usa, might be worth a quick look inside it,
Yes 6KW each inverter.What output power ? 6kw??
What voltage range ??
As i understand it wind produces AC current solar DC. It will need correcting first if you have the wrong current For the inverter. The add does state that it may need a rectifier. Each time you change the current I would imagine you lose efficiency. I would try and find one suitable for the turbine
Unsure if suitable .............
Thanks for pointing this out.

Just seen your post, my Windy boy protection box has failed just wondering if you still have your bits and if so how much thanks.Just happened to spot your post. I’ve got a surplus Windy Boy WB(SMC) 6000A and accompanying kit, all in good condition. I'll drop you a direct message with details.
