If you use chlormequat you'll have to follow up with Terpal. For long strawed hybrid barleys pushed hard for yield I used 0.1 Moddus plus a litre of 3C at GS30, again at GS31/32 then a litre of Terpal at GS 33-awns showing.

None of my wheat looks excessive but will get 1.2 3C at T0 and T1. I doubt I will follow it up later unless it looks really leggy.

Gave barley 0.75 Canopy at T0
Followed up with 0.4 Canopy and 0.2 Moddus
Expect to put something else on next time too - cost of chem smaller than cost of scraping up flat corn.

Conventional barley has had 1l/ha 3C with 0.1 of a generic moddus. I'd anticipate another 0.1 moddus at T1 but will take a view on growth during the next 7-10 days. This won't necessarily get a ethephon based follow up. I find if you only use a little 3C early and a couple of low rates of moddus, then you can wait and see on the ethephon based on growth. I do agree - if you are only using 3C early, then an ethephon follow up is important in barley.

Hybrid barley has recieved 1l/ha 3C and 0.15 moddus, and will probably get the same again followed by an ethophon based product later on.

Some very 'growy' wheat has had 1.5l/ha 3C with 0.15 generic moddus. It's very rare I go above 0.1l/ha moddus on wheat. This will be followed by 0.5l/ha 3C with moddus if necessary.

Most wheat will be getting (probably after the weekend) 1.5l/ha 3C followed by 0.5l/ha 3C. Unless things dramatically change that will be all for the wheat.

An ethephon follow up on wheat is very rare here, perhaps a few fields 1 year in 8-10.
