Yes that's what I'm thinking, It didn't work very well last year and it was a bit colder, well a cold snap then warmed right back up againPropyzamide and Pendimethalin, personally I think it’s too warm for propyzamide but just doing as I’m told.
YesVespa?
Toying with glypho next available opportunity and hold back on the Kerb as long as we dare, pre em of course.Kerb on beans has to be on pre em.
We are going Kerb, Nirvana and glypho as soon as we can travel. 60mm rain in last 9 days.
Legally should be on within 7 days of drillingToying with glypho next available opportunity and hold back on the Kerb as long as we dare, pre em of course.
I know, I suspect it won't be getting appliedLegally should be on within 7 days of drilling
It’s a bugger. Not drilled mine yet, as I NEED the Kerb to work, but it’s bloody wet now. Might be wrong, but I believe post em is allowed in France, so not a crop safety issue (stand to be corrected)I know, I suspect it won't be getting applied
Beans yielded well last year, despite Ryegrass issues. Trouble is we ended up having to plough 2 fields after. It’s a bugger. Not drilled mine yet, as I NEED the Kerb to work, but it’s bloody wet now. I just went nirvana last year on mine and let the fact the things were so thick smother the black grass out in springMy beans if they make it into the ground aren't going on BG fields and i'm wondering whether to go with pdm plus defy instead of pdm plus kerb. Thoughts?
That is wet!!!
Heavy clay after 40mm, no way they would drill now (or in 2022) from what I can seeThat is wet!!!
how long dare you wait?
i am thinking 2 weeks, should I be more brave? All weather dependent of course
Mine are through, took 16 days 4" + deep. Got the glyphosate on yesterday nothing else too warm to latevery warm autumn. I got the warning when dressed wheat drilled pretty deep was up in 5/6 days, so was cautious with the beans. I was loosing my nerve at 8 days and they started emerging 9 days after drilling, crazy for beans
This is true. Apparently there is a small chance of yield loss post em…….but it’s better to get the blackgrass at the best timing. It’s a bugger.
