All of it. But that's only 80 acres. So far, about 1/3 is growing nicely, 1/10 was sown at the same time and is looking mixed, but the plants are there. The rest was drilled on 27th October and has had 65mm of rain on it since. I will have to wait and see..

All 160 planned acres are in, but none rolled, pre-emd or pelleted. It has all chitted so there might be hope yet but I am a bit worried about slugs and what it will look like blackgrass wise so not totally out of the woods yet.

75% of cereals planted here, have had to do some rotation changes to get grass planted, I should get another 50 acres planted but after that I doubt I will get any more. Hopefully get a field in today but we will see. Could be lots of maize in the ground next year.

With much of my wheat going straight into the cows I think we could be short 200t of feed winter 2020

So far for the uk then about 50% planted at best
over 2 million acres still to go

No way is 50% planted. I can’t find anything planted around here and then I’ve been to Bournemouth and back on different routes and saw virtually nothing planted. I’ve also been to Norfolk and back and again not a lot. Got friend who went to wales on Thursday and is saying the same. I’d say 20% at the very best.

The survey is for 159 farmers so not insignificant as.
Have posted other threads if it is 50% then that is 900000 has at 2019 yields only 7.2 million tonnes
more realistic yield 6.3 million tonnes water logged wheat at 6 tonnes only 5.4 million tonnes
that is we need 14 million less 5.5 million produced 1 million carried over 2 million tonnes barley used extra to normal still leaves 6 million tonnes short 100 big ships and puts the uk in the ranks of the biggest importers

lets hope we get a dry December to February and plant another couple of million acres
