Wireless Farm Alarms & Equipment

433.92MHz kit is lower power and in theory would be more susceptible commonly used in door bells / weather stations, home automation and cheap alarms.
869 MHz kit has more power and as such capable of improved bidirectional secure communication and used in central heating, high end home automation and the more expensive home alarms.

I'd say more of a concern in urban areas as much easier to sniff out who has what alarm without raising concern but not to be ignored.

If someone is determined enough to use such measures then the chances are that even a wired alarm will be of limited benefit. I've always maintained that you can only ever deter the casual/lower end thieves.

When I alarmed up my buildings, the system came with bunch of wireless contacts and sensors which I installed to make life easy, but as it turned out - they didn't! The system had a number of anti jamming techniques built in, but these served to drain batteries and also made for a lot of false alarms, so I ended up going for traditional wired in sensors - hey presto an instant reduction in false alarms and no more having to put ladders in awkward spots to replace the batteries.
