woodchip for bedding

Strong possibility later in the year that we will have a steady and consistent supply of woodchip available. Just wondered if anybody would be interested and what sort of value it would have.
Would be delivered on artic's so access would have to be able to accomodate these. Midlands and surrounding areas.

Many use it, but think farmers are wising up that when spread on the field it requires more nitrogen to break it down than warrants having it even for free!! Useful say in out door feeding to put in front of feeders so only needs topping up not cleaning out and spreading on fields, but other than that I only see an outlet in farmers short of cash, actually you may be onto a plentiful market, but think its a faze that's run its course on the whole, but may be wrong

some of this chip contains paint and glue and other bits. We looked into this and as we are organic we most def not want to fill our future compost with nasties. We chip our own wood here and at least it is just wood and leaves. Do enough to do some alternative bedding and keep some back for compost making this year. Wouldnt pay for it anyway.

What do you use to chip your wood. Thinking of chipping brash and willow from hedge and ditch clearing but not sure what to use.
