Wooden potato boxes

Im after as many 2nd hand potato boxes as I can get hold of, for seasoning logs in for my firewood business. Preferably around East Anglia area, I can collect with loader and trailer so to cause minimal hassle for you. Dont mind repairing boxes you may think have had it.

Would the extra cost be worth it over vented log bags?

I use vented bags, with fold over tops, so you can leave them outside for a bit if needs be, although the bottom layer need to be kept of the ground with a pallet.

I think so yeah, I have tried vented bags and find them a pain tbh and the ones I bought were ruined after one summer in sun light. Went to pick them up with the loader and every bloody one ripped I half, I had to hand ball a lot of logs!

Thats interesting, thanks for the reply. I have looked at the new log boxes but I cant make the investment in new boxes stack up. Can you send me some prices on 2nd hand boxes please?
