Responsible person seeks some practice ground for trails/enduro bike riding in the North East/North West.
Locations are becoming harder to find, I have a nice place to use in Cumbria but it's 100 miles each way, so not ideal, same down in Yorkshire, but again too far for an hour's practice. I'm only interested in training legally, hence thought I'd ask for landowners on here, anything considered. Happy to pay cash, whiskey (one landowner likes it this way), or whatever your poison. Not asking to open the gates for hoards of loonies on scramblers, just 2 of us, mid forties dads training for an event in Romania next year before our bodies finally give up. Thanks.

What type of bikes? 2 or 4 stroke? Quiet/loud? Have got a bit of land that might be suitable but horses nearby so need to watch the noise. Had a 2 stroke motocross bike here once and it sent one of the horses a bit crazy. Occasional use by quiet(ish) bikes is OK.

Thank you for the reply Farmer996.
The enduro bikes a very quiet indeed, 2 stroke, but we have to keep them standard for competition use, noisey bikes are not allowed now for good reason. They are 2016 models so euro 3 compliant and therefore not offensive at all. The last thing I want to do is wind people up. The trials bikes are older and make a bit of a popping noise, so maybe not as suitable. I don't mind having a ride out on the road bike to come and have a chat and a look at your land if that works for you? Can you send PM's on this forum? I will try and send my email and see how that goes. Where are you based?
Thanks Andy
