Wool in concrete ??

Probably a ridiculous idea but has anyone any knowledge or experience of adding wool to a concrete floor to increase it's strength?
Found a couple of research papers on Doctor Google but just wondered if anyone had done it?

Did it once, dagging wool to make a small pad for 5 kennels. Tended to stick in small ‘clumps’. It showed through when floating it but can’t notice it now really. You can buy a Bag of fibres for £5/cube

Wool was supposed to be used in the foundations of the Creeslough viaduct in Donegal
