I have a very old large space heater never misses a beat on Kero will run on red but won’t start on red , can I alter it so it will run and start on red ? Ie new jet or something ??

Should be a screw in the back to increase the pressure. Needs to be 12 bar for red diesel.

Oh so just turn it up a bit then ?
If it's the torpedo type heater then the little pressure screw in the back will increase the pressure to make it a finer mist to ignite. Red diesel has a higher flash point than kero and paraffin so needs to be squeezer more to get it to burn.
