John Milnes won trailed, Emlyn Jones won mounted as far as I know.....all I keep seeing is the elite boys results is conventional and reversible.
The Scottish Ploughing Championships Facebook page has the results on it, no one else, not even the SoP, has bothered to publish the results. So for those who don't do Facebook

Trailing Day 1 - 3rd Germany - 238 points; 2nd Northern Ireland - 238 points (count back); 1st England - 256 points.
Trailing Day 2 - 3rd Wales - 233 points; 2nd Germany - 250 points; 1st England 274 points.
Trailing Overall - 3rd Northern Ireland - 448; 2nd Germany - 488; 1st England - 530.

Mounted / Hydraulic Day 1 - 3rd Wales - 251 points; 2nd England - 252 points; 1st Northern Ireland 259.
Day 2 - 3rd Northern Ireland - 259 points; 2nd Scotland - 261 points; 1st Wales - 270 points.
Mounted Overall - 3rd Scotland 511; 2nd Northern Ireland 518; 1st Wales 521.

So John Milnes is world vintage champion with 530 points, Emlyn Jones was 2nd with 521 points and Ian Simms was 3rd with 518 points.

England, Wales, Ireland 123... Well deserved! I felt a bit sorry for some of the non Brit guys, many of them were borrowing equipment, but did have chance to practice. By the end of the Saturday some of them were doing good jobs....just not as good as the Brits, but I would say that's only yo be expected. Either, nice to see all the different flags on the tractors and a group of like minded people having some tractor fun in the sun!

Hi I think you will find all the confusion of not finding results is from the society of plowman dragging their ass
had a email from the world organization this morning telling me they have nothing to do with the vintage it was a invitational match with the SOP .I hear there is a lot of unhappy people all over the world that are unable to find out about their country's effort in the vintage plowing. guess we are not important enough mike

You have now experienced first hand the workings of the SOP.

It shouldn't have been called the world vintage match, Society of Ploughmen International Ploughing Championships would've been more accurate. Don't expect the SoP to make the results public any time soon. The judges score sheets are meant to be in the post to the competitors as they 'were not available' when the results were given out in the field. Expect the results after the European Vintage, when things have quietened down a bit and people have something else to talk about

I am sure SOP would say they were to busy to post results quickly. But in truth i think its an issue that the sop isnt tuned into modern technology. Their website is very basic and they probably vastly underestimate the use of social media they tried over the weekend but nothing was posted after thursday or friday. They had people inputing scores from judges sheets on to spreadsheets to appear in the windows of their cabin on site it would not have taken them 5 mins to post these via social media as WPO did.

Bob you wont shake that lot up, the only option is a new group for vintage, its time to stop moaning about them and bypass them, have said before tho not likely to happen as nobody wants the work.
at least we have something to moan about but are any of us ready to act to do something about it?

You have hit the nail on the head. I have offered to put in a shift on a local basis but at the age of 72 I am not in a position to offer a long term solution in central organisation.
