I think I know who this is depending where it is can’t be many orange mogs out there
Well obviously the tractor isn't directly at fault, I never said he/she was.The law dictates the speed we can drive at depending on how wide or how heavey we are not us. You got to be kinda special if you think the tractor driver was at fault here.
The way the car hit it at speed it would suggest that he hadnt noticed the tractor in front, but regardless of whether he had been held up for a long time or not it never justifys a dangerous attempt to pass,Well obviously the tractor isn't directly at fault, I never said he/she was.
But we don't know the full story.
Who knows how long the Mini has been stuck behind the tractor for? I'm going to guess a while based on how risky (and dumb) the manouver was.
We don't know how many cars were stuck behind the Mini. I'd say lots.
I know tractors are busy. Everyone is. But why should x amount of people be held up for 10/15/20 minutes because some tractor drivers are too pig headed to move over and let them pass safely? And then bitch and moan when people make unsafe attempts to pass.
Yes I have tractors, yes I drive on the road, yes I deal with traffic on narrow roads. Some car drivers are impatient. A lot of tractor drivers think they own the road and can hold everyone up without a care in the world about what's going on behind them....like cyclists.
A bit of courtesy goes a long way.
But like I said, we don't know the full story. For all we know, the Mini driver could have had their head down looking at their phone.
Sure I seen that in another pic on here
You're right, but impatience turns the most saintly of drivers into homicidal/suicidal maniacs. I'd like to see the police clamp down on eediots and cyclists needlessly impeding the flow of traffic, it would solve a lot of the worlds problems.but regardless of whether he had been held up for a long time or not it never justifys a dangerous attempt to pass,
People learning how to be patient and slowing their lives down would solve many more. You're right, but impatience turns the most saintly of drivers into homicidal/suicidal maniacs. You're not wrong there. It's a funny old world we live in now, everyone seems to be in a rush and ultimately getting nowhere. Back to the 70's I say.People learning how to be patient and slowing their lives down would solve many more.

Reminds me of a couple of trips I made to India. Quite an experiance being driven around. The horn symphony was quite something especially some of the truck horns. This is how it all works best.. Everyone knows the rules..
Chap I used to buy feed from went for a couple of weeks ,when he came back he said it was chaos but somehow it worked okDriving in India is on my bucket list. I think it would be....educational.
This comes to mind.Chap I used to buy feed from went for a couple of weeks ,when he came back he said it was chaos but somehow it worked ok
That reminds me of the A75 up to Stranraer it just needs some of those yellow M-B----Y trucks in the mixThis comes to mind.
Just to add to the speculation.....Sure I seen that in another pic on here

Or Amman in Jordan. Complete chaos but again somehow works. Indicators voluntary, lanes - what lanes and roundabouts were a complete free for all. As for their motorways, the white lines had faded in the heat so you just go where you think the lane is.Try driving in Moscow...
