That video was shot from the bridge near the castle at Inveraray.

Think was bad day, just bit further round road were 2 landslides, people stuck between so helecopter lifting em out. Alternative route, or long way round flooded and almost impassable.

I was thinking about that the other day. That tree famously featured in "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves". One of the stars in that movie was Morgan Freeman. He was also in "The Shawshank Redemption". Coincidentally, both movies featured a large tree. The sycamore in 'Robin' got felled by vandals, the white oak tree in 'Shawshank'( where Freemans character Red found that box of goodies left for him by Andy Dufresne Played by Tim Robbins), had a sad ending too, first it got struck by lightning then later strong winds finished it off.
