Assuming facts were as stated it should have been obvious how out of balance the trailer was but we all hope to get home at the first attempt.
I've messed up on loading stuff and driven like granny until I got home and then breathed a sigh.
For reference 6 furrow ploughs are too long to travel on a 14ft trailer, even with the headstock over the headboard. You tend to run out of drawbar to turn with.

Yes it puts the brakes on the caravan on even if the car isn't braking if it detects sway, has been known to over do it on winding mountain roads I am told.I don’t know it was available on trailers and caravans in the uk.

I am not aware of it being fitted to normal trailers though, deemed less risk I suppose?
