well ive another tractor with the same thing so i guess I’m double lucky! It’s like a misprinted stamp, you have a 1 of a kind machine which is probably worth millions to a collector![emoji6]
They are wound up but fendt arms don’t seem to lift as high as some other makes.Wind the link arms right up on a trailed machine with a PTO or remove the link arms altogether
that would be far to simpleI'd get the grinder out if you think it will be an issue

Are you serious? How is It the manufacturers fault if the operator continually makes the same mistake? Its possible to destroy a PTO on a power harrow if you lift it too high, which manufacturer would you expect to pay for that?@Suckndiesel There are, rightly, laws against designing things that hurt people.
This is a made to make people get hurt. Ask the manufacturer to fix it- a poor alternative would be a lifetime supply of guards.
They should ask their designers to sit next to one of their creations.
They know this but try to forget if - I would send a monthly invoice for "replacement PTO guard" They will be caught between paying it to keep you quiet and not because it will mean accepting liability.
Try and help them do the right thing.
would it be for a weight block that tucks under the lift arm so you don't have to use a top link , the kink in the arm saves the block resting along the rest of the arm paint work ?
Take the pin out of the bottom of the lift arm and put it in the end with a drawbar pin on the linkage ball. That lifts the end much higher and doesn't take long to do.
We have to do that with the newhollands But the valmet and valtra arms lift well up out the wayTake the pin out of the bottom of the lift arm and put it in the end with a drawbar pin on the linkage ball. That lifts the end much higher and doesn't take long to do.
