while taking down some xmas lights in the farm office decided to reuse them ( as you do ) and after an hour quite please with lights powered from bacteria in soil ,taken from an adjacent field ( no real revolution doing this at all though it is a continuous output so far today ) but I wondered will the next decade become the decade of not saying how clever we are about understanding soil ,but the one of accepting we still know very little about what makes soil tick( over and above a few done before lights etc etc ) , will quorum sensing and Sar responses be the future buzz words ? I hope so
Maybe carbon sequestration will be the saving grace to falling or unstable incomes and just wonder TFF members confidence and current perspective of where things are now
