Yard Space Lease

We have a Community Interest Company (of which Mrs Gander and I are 2 of 6 directors) operating in a corner of the yard. Providing craft and garden therapy groups for children and adults in the community.

We set it up during lockdown, putting a 40’ portacabin on the site. We have now added a veg patch in corner of a field.

We probably should have done this first, but are just getting to it now. We need to have some sort of official lease between us the landowners and the CiC (to make sure there is security for both parties and to enable the CiC to apply for certain grant funding etc). Has anyone got similar on their farms that can offer advice on the sort of lease agreement we need to put in place. Did you use a solicitor or amend a generic agreement off the net?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Similar story here but for niece dog grooming buisness (40ft container) we just used a template online and amended it to suit. Showed it in gest to our land agent few weeks after and he said looks uncannily like what a solicitor would of produced 🙄🤣
