See the mag that tells farmers how to suck eggs is doing a tractor test are these randomly picked ,the top five biggest advertisers or the top five back pocket donators if not why not some of the more socially unpopular but probably better makes

3 Agco and 2 CNH....didn't feature market leader or any fringe options....

Not tractor related but it's not very good when they can't even get the TB risk map right!!!

I often get the impression that the testers are tractor enthusiasts rather than buyers and users.

I see that a group of "international journalists" have chosen the Fendt 1000 series as the tractor of the year. Based on what exactly?? It's just a big version of what has gone before. Nothing about it is new or unique. The Fastrac 4000 series complete with hydraulic suspension all round, high speed gearbox and 4ws was overlooked. I suppose the Fendt had bigger wheels....

These awards aren't worth the paper they're written on IMO.

The main thing that the Fend has over the JCB is it's got Fendt written on the bonnet.

Aother top test where they take tractors of differant power and then can't understand why they get a big variation in the results.

This a 1000 times, I've just read it. They should compare rated tractor powers and then go from there, although nicely for me the NH came second, it and the Case were 20 hp at rated lower than the rest! beggars belief that such idiots can conduct a test tbh.
