We are out of silage so are having to cut and buck rake daily fortunately did it all last night as it would be a mess this morning in this dump of a country

Absolute sh!t again. Still waiting for a dry spell, had rain/showers at some point nearly every day this week. Glad we didn't bother with any spring drilling

Had planned to get cows and calves out today - pouring down now and will be all day , according to forecast. Cows came in Nov 11th , lucky we have plenty of haylage and straw. ....
Never known it so bad ,here in Vale of York, God s own county. Have had 1 'lake' in a paddock since the end of October .

Did well to keep em out till the 11th Nov, ours were in 3 weeks before then as they were rotavating every grass we had

Despite being forecast for once’s it’s actually missed us us in the west. Usually if it’s going to rain it rains here!
Should be down to the last 45ac of spring barley by tonight then just 90ac of canary seed to get in.

Even look dry over the Welsh mountains.

Hope it dries up soon for you guys on the other side

Well that’s the last emergency bale of silage in too as it’s too wet to pickup fresh stuff this morning 5 deg and horizontal rain, is it f**king May or November
