Phew indeed! Every day recently has been a dryish morning followed by a downpour in the pm. Fields are now getting wet and need a dry spell to get anything done. Its not helping the s beans to mature either - could be a mid October harvest as pods still green!

Yep, rained all night here yet again, 19mm, that puts us on 593mm for the year. 30 year av is 630mm, so it's other gonna dry up soon or it's gonna be game over for this year and I fear I know which one it will be.
By the way the forecast was for 1-2mm.
