Filthy morning.......again. Torrential hail, wind, water running everywhere. been out squelched round got soaked .....again (discovered some new leaks in supposed waterproofs) back in and had to put the light on its so dark

i dare say it but its as dry as a bread basket up ere...
No more seriously we are very dry & this is a rare event at this time of year.
You could literally still sow grain up here.
We always seem to get that mid oct pish doon that ends the land working season but this year we did a little then next to nowt for the last month & had some wind so its all dried up again.
on a brighter note all crops look like there ni on flawless & perfect snooker tables.. now thats even rarer.
I'll take it. coz once its wet even here its wet & you cant get on the land until mid March if your lucky.

It's dried up nice here but middle of Oct to a week ago was rubbish. I certainly wouldn't be complaining it's too dry. It can never be too dry here
