Yep, the north York moors just east of me are disappearing into the rain.

Yep, as is often the case with these weather patterns dry day with an annoying light shower at some stage - got ours a few minutes ago, enough to wet the surface again. classic period when forecasters say it is dry - but we know not dry enough for arable farming.

Start of the dry high pressure weather and - its drizzling. Only 1 mm overnight, but enough. Golng back to bed. Someone wake me up when it's time to go drilling. Probably mid-April

Our four-day dry spell ended three days early. 4 mm overnight and counting.
