The rain arrived as the second bale came out of the chamber. Didn’t last long , but more forecast

Had thunderstorms during the night, with 8mm of rain . Doesn’t look very good at all going forward , with storms forecast everyday for a couple of weeks . Reportedly parts of Wales were flooded out .

Looks as if it is to remain dry here for several days yet, (unless a storm passes over). Have not had sensible useful rain here for a few weeks, far too dry to even think about planting rape at moment.

Thunderstorm started around midnight and continued for a long time, 54mm measured rainfall !!
