March, April, July, august, half of sept and oct have been above average for rain. Two of them wettest in decades and we don’t have a final oct total

so the 45mm last week in two days was just too much in one hit, on top of the other 40mm we had had this month. To be honest last Wed everything looked terrific. Now not so much
