8mm , forecast rubbish into the start of next month so with a dry 10 days needed before any planting that takes us to mid April , times running out.
The Met office has become one of the worst for changing their forecasts, and the BBC are giving rain every day for I don't know how many days in a row

Average rain fall is around 41 inch so we must have had considerably more it is a sandy loam over gravel on 98% of the land I grow crop on. Going back to the days when I had cattle we could umbilical slurry just about any day we wanted to if wet the tractor would just put cleat marks in the land.
