Don't know your situation obviously, but could you invest similar money in cow tracks/fencing to get the same result? We used to zero graze rye and kale with a Kidd double chop, but it was a bind every day, and if it was wet made a hell of a mess.
Anything with an engine is trouble, I would keep it simple if you can.
