we are cheaper on servicing/repair costs due to the simplicity and lack of electronics, we try and keep everything simple, reliable and cost friendly packed inside a unit that still packs a punch
many farmers would be better off with this type tractor as they don't do big hours per year ,( i am not saying the zetor would not do big h per year ,) and don't need to spend money a=on high teck on a shed , as most farmers use their tractor for simple jobs , you don't need a fendt to spread slurry with a 2k gls tanker , or pull a grain trailer , see dbjohn this year working beside bigger newer tractors ,

This is our concept, not every farmer requires high tech and the expense that goes with it, we offer very good strong, fuel efficient tractors, that are easy to operate, service and maintain.

how does the price compare for say 130 ish hp to a same size second-hand tractor with say 2.5k h on but from one of the big name brands ?

not sure about price second hand we have a good residual value and we are a safe bet due to the lack of expensive electronics that could fail and cost a bomb.

I will look at the second hand market and get back to you

What's price of a forterra 100hp with loader? Looks a weighter prospect for handling bales.

alot of guys buy extras on tractors that they never use , the guy just down the road from me has a 5 year old JD , with 2.5kh on it , how he ever put up that many hours" i don't know ,unless new tractors clock up hours when not working "but any way he got the tractor with front links and he has never put anything on the front links , he is now selling the tractor ,

Hi Rob we don't dictate pricing to our dealers, its much more fun if you can go and haggle ;), we do have a couple of 2013 spec Forterra 135 from a cancelled export order still available give your local dealer a shout

I know what you mean, having helped to protect some very educated and well meaning Dutchies from themselves ;)

I see the Press statement came from central internal PR and Ogilvy. Surely the latter, as a UK headquartered Co, can see how some of this reads

Just a heads up for anyone looking at our Major 80, looks like there will be a £600 increase in January, so if your considering purchasing one might want to do it before year end ;)
