Can't you have a place somewhere that explained in place English what all these app knobs do, the bird the flag two edit functions ..............

Thanks llamedos. Enabling the emoji keyboard style now magically reveals all the smilies in posts when using the iOS app. Previously only some were decoded, like the basic smiley but not all.

I needed to quit the app and reboot my iPad for the changes to be effective.

FT will need a printable list of all the smilies as an aide memoir

I've done that but still not seeing all smilies in the app on iPod touch, got more than before. Don't matter 'cos mostly on laptop anyway.

Are other people using the andriod app (not the mobile friendly browser jobby) able to see all these weird and wonderful smilies? I can see the basic

etc and these are available to use in the app smilie option but the others just appear as words surrounded by colons, when I asked a while back it was as is and just a limitation of the app but should I now be able to see and use them all?
