Thanks guys. I have a little bit to do round the other side of the shed so might be better off with 14 cube. Just couldn't make the numbers work this morning!

I'd be interested to see who's closest ;)

I'm on 2 full loads. :( £££££

edit - my first line wrong should be 9.7 x 7.1.....shortest x shortest

so back to 13.2 for my answer, works out the same as multiplying the average of the 2 opposite sides like the pro's do it. ;)

'there must be an app for it ' as my builder says.

It's not half of 11.7x2.15 for that triangle though is it? That was my stumbling block.
Well, one of them...

I use an app called JC Balls concrete calculator..... It recons just under 14m. It's always been pretty good whenever I have used it.

11.7 is the longest side though not the height.
I could well be wrong mind...
Your right but would be close enough for a guesstimate.
@Philip Watkins youre fairly good at maths aren't you?
Fairly, yes but too many variables in this. We need to know some angles. Is there a right angle in one corner to start.
I did it like this, dunno whether its right but i'm not usually far out, he says, be 30 cube out next week now :banghead:

I reckon your method is flawed but then it's your job, I've never done concrete ordering.
