that could well prove to be the bargain of the year unless this weather pattern changes esp if the price inc delivery to local ish farm, small bales of hay not leaving here less than a fiver although they are heavier than most but only got a few left from last year to tide regulars over

It depends exactly where you are but about £65 barley and £58 wheat in lorry and drag loads.

Depends exactly where you are but about £65 barley and £57 wheat in lorry and drag loads.

not here, chopper armed and ready price has to reflect nutrient and organic matter removal plus the hassle factor of not getting it baled or removed on/in time

£30 a ton ex farm if you're lucky.
