First of all which one would you prefer and why ?
How these one disk openers perform drilling WOSR into barley, wheat or rye stubble, all straw will be chopped. I have JD s690i combine with premium chopper and macdon 35" head.
May be some picutres of emerged OSR?
All an all my rotation is spring barley, cover crop, Peas, w.wheat, wrye or w.barley,Osr,w.wheat,cover crop,Spring beans, w.wheat, cover crop.

Buy the one that's tried and tested and has solid known residual value Imo

The other maybe just as good but is a big risk by comparison

Green one seems to crac his frame, and has an idiotic seed metering system. And no fert option. So may avatar be the best option for me?

Not cracked the frame on either we have had , the first 4m one was at least 30k ha old and still going strong with its new owner

The metering is accord - possibly the most popular meting system fitted to a drill ever ?

Fert is an issue but easy solved as I have, Do horsch offer it as standard on the avatar?

Still reckon vaderstad and john deere should join forces and have the vaddy seed and fert metering on JD drills and sell them for £25 for 3m. They fly

I like the accord system - it's very accurate

Only issues is getting buckets under the outlets and running to /from the cab when calibrating on your own
