View attachment 482964This is a marginal cropping field as it was permanent pasture for years. Will be sprayed off in 10 days after sheep and then drilled about mid april with barley.
Chicken muck on top in May
Quite a close time between roundup and drilling but will drill with AS down spout to get it going. Will be warmer by then too.
A month between spaying and drilling be plenty wouldn't it?
I must have missed it somewhere but what drill are you using to drill into grass?View attachment 482964This is a marginal cropping field as it was permanent pasture for years. Will be sprayed off in 10 days after sheep and then drilled about mid april with barley.

Lower should help. Air induction nozzles transform a sprayer though very simplyView attachment 485628Rounduping stubbles pre beans today. Sprayer new to me bit frustrating cant get boom low enough. 3.5l ha plus katalyst
By the way if conditions are a bit windier than you want it to be does spray pressure matter much ie should it go up or down a bit?

What is kyleo? Does it do a job on oil radish?
I don't know if its true but RBWH always seems to grow in places eg yards etc where the soil is quite sad. Is it supposed to be an indicator of anything?View attachment 486090View attachment 486092 Still spraying off stubbles today. Using a bit of kyleo as an experiment to knock a bit of rbwh back. Interesting to see how it goes i find it dear for what it is and have also done some 24d and glyphosate mix as a comparison as well.
Much of the land looking a bit sad at the moment. Digging holes and all seems well but from the tractor land looks a bit desperate for sunshine.
