Yea same backend as a 77, an 87 had the heavy duty back end same as TW
My 8210 is the same, basically a 5000 back endThat's interesting to know, I thought the backend on this looked a bit weedy in comparison to the rest of the tractor
Just the same as every ford up to 40 series , that's the beauty of them, parts are easy to get and reasonable priced and simple to fixMy 8210 is the same, basically a 5000 back end
Exactly, there's a 7600 in our yard ATM and it's basically the same as the 82 which is basically same as the GFs 7740Just the same as every ford up to 40 series , that's the beauty of them, parts are easy to get and reasonable priced and simple to fix
that means an 82 is 67 back end and not a 77 as well,81 used backend off 67 because no one wanted them as underpowered, then every one got this good 6 cyinder to put on foragers and did the pto in on them, fetched us one on demo and when they saw what it was going on it went back on lorry as no one wanted to use it on a trailerMy 8210 is the same, basically a 5000 back end
A 67 and 77 where the same only a 77 had a turbo.....that means an 82 is 67 back end and not a 77 as well,81 used backend off 67 because no one wanted them as underpowered, then every one got this good 6 cyinder to put on foragers and did the pto in on them, fetched us one on demo and when they saw what it was going on it went back on lorry as no one wanted to use it on a trailer
It's still on my watch list.

Not meaning to question you as I'm basing a lot of what I know in reading the online parts catalogue (yes it's sad but I get bored at times) but are you sure about the 77 having more plates In the PTO clutch?77 had more pates in pto clutch, same as a 66 and 76,same as 5000 and 7000 and assister ram was standard on all 7 series
just going by what we where told and sure it was in old leaflets and specs in operators book, never had a 67 had all the others and 81 with shindler axel on demoNot meaning to question you as I'm basing a lot of what I know in reading the online parts catalogue (yes it's sad but I get bored at times) but are you sure about the 77 having more plates In the PTO clutch?
Both parts lists (7700 6700)on NH site show 4 pairs of plates. Not meaning to question you as I'm basing a lot of what I know in reading the online parts catalogue (yes it's sad but I get bored at times) but are you sure about the 77 having more plates In the PTO clutch?
I've maybe read it wrong but is that not showing 2 sets of 4 plates so therefore 8 plates? Both parts lists (7700 6700)on NH site show 4 pairs of plates.
8100 not shown (might be on US page)
8200 shows 4 pairs, as does 8210
8700 + 9700 also 4 pairs
An interesting fact for a fellow saddoNot meaning to question you as I'm basing a lot of what I know in reading the online parts catalogue (yes it's sad but I get bored at times) but are you sure about the 77 having more plates In the PTO clutch?
