If that is the case then why not just say so?
Thats the part which is funny really, they like to keep things in the dark, so they don't necessarily lie but they don't tell the absolute truth either
If that is the case then why not just say so?
You're lucky, when we had cattle 50% of them never got a final destination logged on CTSThese are the entries copied from CTS, it suggests to me that some slaughterhouses have been given the option by CTS not to be clearly identified when former keepers search CTS for their movement history.
Perhaps @RPA could help explain this anomaly?
I'm struggling to see how a horse could get though that system as a cow. But on TFF many things are possible.
I bet they could find the farm if they needed a scapegoat.
Plus the massive gaping hole from birth until the final assured farm before slaughter in many instances.well it's happened before.....if animals are only traced halfway (which it sounds like) on their journey farm to plate there's basically a gaping hole in traceability once off the lorry
sounds like farmers are being used to give the illusion of traceability via RT
This thread seems to be demanding MORE traceability! Couldn't agree more. It's the whole reason that whole life assurance is the only assurance. None of this 90 day tosh.
The sooner its brought in the better and I'll write to my MP off the back of feeling in this thread to demand it.
@Clive I was just wondering if you have any vacancies on this forum, as it seems your staff live on steak,
going off for an other lettuce sandwich, least I can trace it to 3 row on the right in the garden, but as for the bread, well it's Warburton's

All the gaps need closing.
how is wla going to help....they can't even be sure where it's been last 90 days....problem is no traceability once it's off the lorry
As I said, all gaps need closing.

errr...passports.....you're just defending the undefendable
Obviously the trading standards got their testing results mixed upI'm struggling to see how a horse could get though that system as a cow. But on TFF many things are possible.
But RT state that their assured produce is assured from farm to fork. It is, but that statement only applies to the last few months of time on farm. It's all but indefensible as a statement of truth.errr...passports.....you're just defending the undefendable
