The Terex part no. 6101988M91 you mentioned is a bit of a strange one, it might be an updated/replacement part number or perhaps it includes the compensator valve? Can't say.

I had a quick search, can only find it on some Russian and Turkish parts websites...however it is described as a 160L pump but no other meaningful info!

Also found this Aussie website selling construction parts, which looks useful for cross-reference. The part numbers match up with what's on the Terex Parts catalogue. Check your VIN / serial number....

have checked part numbers and they are correct

the terex part number is a complete pump with divert valve etc .

The other part no's are just the bare pump, without the unloader valve. So probably explains it.

There's a 7872Q (Ultra part no.) pump which is a 160L, 37cc + 37cc tandem (2PR037-2PR037A) fitted with unloader valve

Unfortunately cant find a drawing to 100% confirm mounting is 2-bolt SAE, 15-spine 1" input shaft, port sizes etc to match....but I strongly suspect this could be "the one"

Ok. part nr 7872Q is the hyd pump with unloader valve and part nr 7871S is hyd pump with out unloader valve

apologies to hijack this thread slightly. I own a 1998 fermec 860 that I have had since new. its now at 11500hrs and not surprisingly it dosnt lift as much as she used to and is rather sluggish on the road. its still on its original pump so would changing the hydraulic pump help with this? the main thing is how sluggish it is on the road, just has to sniff a hill and speed drops but I suspect it will be more to do with wear on the torque plates?. the engine was rebuilt at 10000hrs so that shouldn't be any problem.

yes. it has always worked and I shut it off religiously on the road. every time it is slogging up a hill I check about 10times in the small hope its not shut off and she might go a bit quicker!

probably torque plates but only a guess , some one with more knowledge would be better to ask , usually the 860 fly on the road .

I would check the injector pump boost diaphragm first off. very common fault easy fixed.

she certainly used to fly but not so now. been ultra reliable and owes me nothing. been looking for a tidy second hand 860 or 970 but absolutely nothing about. not sure if most are being exported?

Our 860 became sluggish and it was the wee diaphragm on the injector pump needed replacing.

I have had the diaphragm split before and replaced it, although that was a good while ago! when it did it before it would conk out when working hard. can the diaphragm be needing replaced without it stalling?

thinking back , diaphragm has been changed , digger did not stall . older 860s were better made than the newer diggers .

Was the Delphi injector pump overhauled cause they are bad for causing your symptoms.

waiting for a pump to come from mr happy , without your help it would have cost a good bit more from dealers , just have to switch over unloader valve .thank you @Pheasant Surprise

I just changed the diaphragm as it had a clear split in it. It was run for a while with the air pipe from the turbo blanked to stop it cutting out.
