Inspired by @JPM s conversion of his mixer to go on the Loadall i have done ours similarly.
In the spirit of low cost we went for mounting on pallet forks.
The blue pallet frame is the last bit left over from a cradle which carried wind turbine blades. Welded the old Teagle to that.
The motor used to drive the conveyer on our mixer wagon till I moved the door and cut the conveyer off.
The drive flange on the motor came off an old Vicon Vari spreader, and I made and welded the other one to the input shaft.
Had to buy a new rubber doughnut coupling though, got it online through Kramp. Think it was worth the bother to give a bit on alignment.
Just had it out tonight hence the long pipes to try it.
It's a bit fast so either need to restrict flow or fit a bypass idea which would be better for the JCB .
Planning to fix it down and use the loadall to tip which would keep the barrel going round while emptying.

This should really be in the bodge thread, but we bought a length of new channel iron so it won't qualify. But the rest is all used, the main component being a roof truss. It lifts 10 foot high and will lift about a ton if everything holds.

I know what you mean, it does look more like a pneumatic ram, rather than a hydraulic one....?
I was trying to think where\what I’ve seen a ram like that on, but my memory is not playing ball

looks like all our rams, shaft is just a bit thicker than standard.

Do you mean the extra 'rods' down the outside the cylinder?
MF Balers are like this, think it's because they're always under tension

I’m sure it is fine, it’s just unusual to see a hydraulic ram with tie rods on the outside like that. I’ve definitely seen them like that, but it’s not a common design now, at least not in this part of the world.....

Yes the tie rods on the outside, presumably holding the whole lot together?
Obviously nothing wrong with it, but I don’t think it’s a common design now, don’t you agree?

That's all we use over here. Welded ones are scarce.
