And chips shops here are quite happy to pay £8.75 for 25kg English chipping potatoes, so let them crack on.
thats a bit harsh isn't it!!?? I wouldn't be glad to hear you've had a complaint or rejection over the water.Glad to hear that. It's about time they used local stuff
Can't get any peeling stuff sold though, surely you wouldn't like to not be selling stuff that was booked?thats a bit harsh isn't it!!?? I wouldn't be glad to hear you've had a complaint or rejection over the water.

Not personally but I know folk that do for Walkers. All very complimentary about it tooAnybody got any experience of growing VR808 crispers.
Not as daft as the £35/t I got charged for diverted haulage on a rejected load today.Haven't mananged to sell anything but Markie so far.
No pealing i.e. Smalls sold yet.
So the varieties that should be sold 1st rest in the stores.
Daft or what ?
Had an 8 acre field of Orla which was very scabby, getting £30t for them, better than nothing i suppose. Not sold any maincrop yet. Might have to break in next few weeks, although will still have to find someone to give them away to.
Have heard stories of people who have been dumping whole fields for stockfeed if they had internals/pest damage/heavy scab.
Still a big excess to get rid of as far as I can see.
