If that's an air brake problem Claas have a couple of updates for the newer ones so my mate told me yesterday as ones a bigger spring some where to release the brakes quicer and an alteration to the trailer socket 7 pin plug as electrics are upsetting the air system some how I was told. His is a 550 but very high spec
It's doing this without a trailer, no air or hydraulic brakes connected and it's a 2008 tractor

crack the bleed nipple and see if there is any pressure left once your foot is off the pedal. 640 were prone to spinning the ring gear in the final drives which can make brakes stick. when you had trumpets off did you check the dowels that the brake back plate sits on theses shear off at the back of the ring gear and let it come loose.

+1 for that!!

The tractor is a dog that should have been sent to Eastern Europe. Tractors that have brake damage are never ever right again. If I were you I'd cut my losses and flog it now.
Why you think it should been sent to Eastern Europe cos we are Idiots here maybe?Next time i buy a shitty tractor from someone just put right for the sale i will beat the sh!t out of him.

Absolutely not idiots, but you have the skilled labour force to get these things sorted out for reasonable money. Dealerships in the U.K. are charging £60-£80/ hour for this work which makes it completely uneconomical.

Having serious trouble with this tractor now, the lift or the spool valves won't work.
Sometimes the arms might move a small bit but extremely slowly and the spools won't build up and more than about 500psi.
We've tried opening up the priority valves several times and cleaned them all but nothing helps.
Did you get it sorted?

Here the deal is pretty much the same parts are even more expensive.Only unskilled labour is cheap i can admit.I buy Claas tractors for resale and do 90% of the repairs myself and with my own workers. The stuff done to some machines is unbelievable.Example is when i bought a Scorpion telehandler with smoking engine and no 4 x4,just to find out some cowboy put another 12 litres of oil above max and took all of satellite gears from front axel an suffed the end gear cups with grease...

Oh dear, I can see why you get fed up. Were the machines very cheap?

It’s showing the symbol for the ADC bus defect and I’m not sure what it means, it comes on when the tractor has been running for a couple of minutes and then stays on

Anyone know where you could get the ball joints for the front axle or how much they'd be?
Want to know before I start pulling it apart
