View attachment 644282 Just scouted this, never normally bothered about what cis has to say because I do all the work on uniform. Our yields dropped massively when we were getting a terrible milk price,so I haven't bothered about average yields, but recovered to a decent average. Our heifers seem to just relax as a milking heifer but really come on as second calvers. As a heifer I just want her to get in calve easily and let her pay for her keep later. So difficult for the milking heifers I find, coming from chilling out not really doing anything to being milked twice a day and chucked into the cow shed exposed to being battered by the olds dogs.
What's your fat and pro kgs? as I would think this is a better indication what's going on rather than just litres
