Today at work

How has the maize season been for you, up there, did you get enough rain at the right time for a change?
I am having a late start to my day job, drilling grass til 3.30am and the alarm went off at 5.50 :finger::shifty::sleep::sleep::sleep:

Rain here today, ideal, will encourage farmers to go to the store sale :sneaky::sneaky:

The maize has been good this year plenty of consistent heat rain isn't a problem as we don't grow any dry land maize far to risky up here.having a busy end to the season at the moment lots of silage and balage to tidy up and grass is still growing well.

Went to start the auger to put grain in mixer wagon this morning only to find a damn possum clinging on to silo boot for dear life:mad: Had to climb in as the grain had gotten to low anyway:rolleyes:, only to find 2 of the sh#ts blocking the silo boot:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Now these feckers have claws like badgers and a jaw clench like a hippo so picking one up is definitely out of the question:cautious: . Poked one with the shovel enough for him to disappear out the bottom but the other fecker decided that laps around the inside looked like a good idea:shifty: so had to quickly shovel the grain from the bottom door so he had an out rather than looking at me like a tree:mad:

That's the only manicured hedges I'll see! She hates me and can't wait to lay the flowers on my grave(n)
Well I get that impression anyway:rolleyes:

Had a big event on at main work so had to actually make an effort and dress up  then for my own work gave the neighbours hedges a wee "tidy up" to stock up on foliage for funeral work....bov will be upset I took no pictures of said work....up again at five tomorrow to get everything finished....fingers crossed for a good nights sleep.
And where's the picture of you dressed up at work? This is in the picture section
