Took some more stores to the auction today for one of my brothers, these are the heifers out of the same batch as the bullocks sold last week. Not just as classy but nice sorts for 11 to 12 month old cattle

Extra hidden commission to make up for the low actual commission of 2.3%
I'm pleased it's not only me that looks to see what different markets are charging :LOL:
What's the bio security deduction for on your ticket?
Just another 'stealth tax' that sneaks up in the deductions on your ticket, from time to time. It's amazing what they dream up - the deductions bit often takes up more lines than the sales on mine(n)

We should run a competition on here to see which market is the most creative*/greedy*

Here's my entry from a well known Nottinghamshire venue.......

Tolls.... market site is council owned - assume the 35p/head is their rake off.

Antemortem L.... no idea about the 'L' bit, but it's a 25p/head deduction to cover claims buy the buyers for anything that's condemned after slaughter. It just used to be on culls but it's now crept in to hoggs after Jan 1st:facepalm:

Wash out.... used to be free, then 10p/head and now crept up to 15p/head

Debt Insurance ...10p/head
